Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and about one year of medical office experience; phlebotomy and injections may be required, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones
• Schedule appointments
• Collect co-payments
• Complete patient registration
• Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
• Check in and check out patient
• Verify insurances
• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required
