Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant in Bannockburn, IL. This full-time role supports physician practices with front desk duties, patient check-in, registration, and basic clinical tasks.

Travel to other locations is possible, with flexible hours to meet staffing needs. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling, collecting co-pays, documenting vitals, and assisting with phlebotomy or injections as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required; MA program preferred but not required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and complete patient registration.
• Provide other administrative support to the physician practice.
• Check in and check out patients and verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room; document vital signs, allergies, medications and visit reason.
• Provide front office support and basic vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
