Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; medical assisting program preferred.
• Certification: CPR through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience: 1 year in a medical office or related field preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
