TexomaCare is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient examinations, perform vital signs, venipuncture, and assist with front desk duties. The role works within IPM guidelines and uses the EMR for documentation.

TexomaCare is affiliated with Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX, part of Universal Health Services. This position offers opportunities for growth within a large health system and a patient-focused team environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Familiarity with medical terminology required.
• Experience with patient check-in and check-out.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Must perform courteously and professionally in all interactions.
• Office equipment such as fax, copier and telephone system.
• EKG machine experience.

Responsabilidades

• Interview patients and measure vital signs under physician direction.
• Venipuncture and procedures as directed within scope of practice.
• Document in the Electronic Medical Record per IPM guidelines.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
• Cover the front desk as needed.
