Job summary

TexomaCare, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Medical Assistant in Denison, TX. The MA will interview patients, check vitals, perform venipuncture, and assist physicians under supervision.

Responsibilities include room preparation, front desk support, and EMR documentation in accordance with IPM guidelines. Qualifying candidates should have a High School diploma, BLS/CPR, and MA certification or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Essential MA duties include interviewing patients and measuring vitals.
• Proficient with medical terminology and clinic procedures.
• Familiarity with venipuncture and EHR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measure vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture and simple procedures under physician supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist front desk as needed.
• Document in EMR per IPM guidelines.
