Job summary

TexomaCare, part of Independence Physician Management (IPM) affiliated with Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX, seeks a Medical Assistant. You will interview patients, record vital signs, perform venipuncture, assist physicians, and document in the EMR.

Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, assisting at the front desk, and ensuring smooth clinic flow. A High School Diploma, CPR/BLS, and Medical Assistant certificate are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have medical terminology knowledge and clinic protocol experience.
• Accurate patient check-in/out and documentation in EMR.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs and hospital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measure vital signs under physician supervision.
• Perform venipuncture and other procedures as directed.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and assist front desk as needed.
• Document care in the EMR per IPM guidelines.
