TexomaCare is seeking a Medical Assistant in Denison, TX to support physicians with patient exams, vital signs, venipuncture, and EMR documentation. The MA will prep exam rooms and assist at the front desk as needed, working under physician supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, MA credential or 1 year of MA experience, and BLS/CPR certification. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA certification preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate or one year of MA experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology required.
• Experience with patient check-in/check-out and clinic protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height).
• Perform venipuncture and procedures under physician direction.
• Document in EMR per IPM guidelines.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
• Assist in front desk coverage as needed.

Conhecimentos

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Communication skills

MS Office / basic computer skills

Familiarity with medical terminology

EKG machine handling
