Job summary

CareNow urgent care is seeking a qualified NCT/Medical Assistant to support patient care, perform imaging duties, collect specimens, and maintain accurate charting. You will assist with check-in/out and help ensure smooth clinic operations.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year clinical experience, EHR familiarity, and required licenses/certifications; BLS and drug/alcohol screening certifications are expected within specified windows.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update patient charts.
