Qualifications

• Current AHA BLS certification and CMA/RMA credential from a recognized organization.
• Minimum two years of clinical MA experience in a practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to scope of practice, policies, and competency standards in patient care.
• Performs rooming tasks: vitals, medication reconciliation, med history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures and charts notes as ordered.
• Performs lab duties: venipuncture, specimen handling, POCT, CLIA waived tests.
• Administers medications and vaccines following safety protocols.
• Handles referrals, scheduling, insurance authorizations, and messaging patients.
• Maintains clean, stocked work areas and equipment readiness.
• May assist with training teammates and participate in department initiatives.
