Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or military training in lieu of program.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and perform vital signs, medical history and screenings.
• Assist provider with procedures and patient care as ordered.
• Perform lab duties including venipuncture, specimen handling, and clerical lab work per CLIA.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area and ensure equipment is in good working order.
