Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or structured military training in lieu of a formal MA program.
• Two years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient messages and scheduling in work queue.
• Assist providers with rooming patients and procedures as ordered.
• Perform vital signs, medication reconciliation, history taking, screenings, and document findings.
• Administer medications and vaccines following safety protocols.
• Support with referrals, prescriptions, and insurance authorizations.
