Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program or structured military clinical training per DD214 or EMT.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Follow MA scope, policies, and competency requirements.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, review medications, and screenings.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Collect specimens, perform venipuncture, and run lab tests.
• Administer medications and vaccines safely.
• Support care with refills, referrals, scheduling, and insurance authorizations.
• Cross-train to support clinic and specialty needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients and care team.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and equipment.
• Provide age-appropriate care across lifespan.
