Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or DD214 in lieu of formal MA program.
• Friendly, professional communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and policies.
• Performs rooming tasks: vital signs, med reconciliation, medical history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties, including POCT and CLIA-waived tests.
• Administers medications and vaccines; handles refills and referrals.
• Maintains clean, stocked work environment and patient-ready exam rooms.
• Demonstrates effective communication and age-appropriate patient care.
