Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program.
• Pediatric MA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and greet patients professionally.
• Perform front desk check-in/out and collect copayments.
• Update patient records in the NextGen EHR system.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient care from pre- to post-visit.
• Assist physician during examinations and procedures.
• Take medical histories and record vital signs.
• Prepare medications as directed by a physician.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Participate in workflow and quality improvement meetings.
