Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced, patient-centered team in East Lyme, CT. You will support physicians with clinical and clerical tasks, maintain accurate charting, and help ensure smooth patient flow in a busy office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Medical Assistant or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic credentials.
• Certified BLS or equivalent within 3 months of hire.
• Experience in a busy medical office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record vitals, reconcile medications and allergies, and collect patient history.
• Assist providers with in-house procedures and point-of-care testing.
• Provide clerical support: scheduling, chart prep, referrals, and authorizations.
• Floats to other offices as needed to support operations.
