Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide basic clinical and clerical support across Urology offices in the Hartford region. You will help with vital signs, patient history, screenings, and assist clinicians with in-house procedures.

The role emphasizes ongoing MA training, multi-site collaboration, and a patient-centered approach. A diploma or CT certification and BLS are required, with EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic/Medic certification.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• All credentials must be maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Vitals, screenings, patient history and health maintenance.
• Assists providers with in-house procedures and administrative support (scheduling, referrals, authorizations).
• High level disinfection is performed with training provided.
