Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians with patient care and administrative tasks. You will perform vitals, history taking, medication reconciliation, and assist with procedures while coordinating scheduling and referrals.

Ideal candidates hold an MA diploma or CT CNA/EMT credential, with BLS certification within 3 months of hire. EPIC EMR experience is preferred and cross-site coverage may be required.

Formación

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or CT CNA/EMT/paramedic certification.
• Certified BLS from American Heart Association obtained within 3 months of hire.
• All credentials must be maintained throughout employment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic clinical and clerical support in patient care within MA scope.
• Take vitals, reconcile medications, document patient history and screenings.
• Assist providers with in-house procedures as needed.
• Provide scheduling, chart prep, referrals, check-in/out and prior authorizations.
• Floats to other Hartford HealthCare Medical Group offices as required by business needs.
