Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support across sites in Connecticut. You will perform vitals, testing, and patient history collection while assisting providers with procedures.

Desirable candidates hold an accredited MA diploma or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification, plus BLS. Travel between Hartford HealthCare offices is expected to support various teams.

Competenze

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification or relevant experience.
• BLS Provider credential from AHA obtained within 3 months of hire date.
• All required credentials maintained throughout employment.

Mansioni

• Vitals, reconcile outside medications and allergies, screenings, patient history, and virtual health.
• Performs point-of-care testing with quality control and documentation.
• Assists providers with in-house procedures as needed.
• Administrative duties: scheduling, chart prep, referrals, check-in/out, prior authorizations, transportation.
• Floats to other Hartford HealthCare Medical Group offices as needed.
