Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience.

The role combines clinical responsibilities with front-desk duties to support a smooth patient journey. Qualifications include at least 1 year as a Medical Assistant, MA program completion, CPR/BLS certification, and preferred phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or completion of MA certification/registration as required by state.
• MA certification/registration is required in states where certification/registration is mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical record requests, and referrals.
• Process test results and provide timely results to patients via e‑message, mail or phone.
