Job summary

Marathon Health is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant for our Denver, CO primary care team. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, acting as both receptionist and clinical support.

The role requires at least 1 year of MA experience, MA certification/registration where required, and CPR/BLS certification at start date. Phlebotomy experience is preferred and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• MA certification or registration is strongly preferred, and required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, medical records requests, and referrals.
• Record data accurately in the medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate results to patients as directed.
