Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our Denver team. The MA is a key component of the care team, working closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, acting as both Medical Receptionist and clinical support.

Essential duties include taking vitals, assisting with procedures, managing exam rooms, front desk tasks, and coordinating referrals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort and prepare patients for exams, and maintain exam rooms.
• Take vitals, assist with procedures, and coordinate lab tests.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
