Job summary

Marathon Health in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA will support a primary care physician, perform clinical tasks, and manage front-desk duties to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of MA experience, completion of an accredited MA program, and CPR/BLS certification. Phlebotomy experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow within a supportive, patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MA experience, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration strongly preferred; required where applicable
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date
• Phlebotomy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, assist procedures
• Record data in medical charts and coordinate with providers
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out
• Process test results and communicate with patients
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments
• Participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement
