Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. This role works closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and an excellent guest experience, handling both front desk duties and clinical responsibilities.

The position requires 1+ year MA experience, formal MA training, and CPR/BLS certification at start. On-site clinic support in a unionized environment with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Graduation from a formal MA program or related program.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, record requests, referrals and check-in/out.
• Process test results and provide timely results to patients as directed by the provider.
• Maintain supplies and support care team to address gaps in care.
