Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The Medical Assistant will support physicians and deliver high-quality patient care while providing an excellent guest experience in our patient-centered model.

The role combines clinical duties with front-desk responsibilities, requiring strong communication and teamwork. Minimum 1 year of MA experience, MA program graduate, CPR/BLS certified, and state certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, coordination of referrals and outside care.
• Document in the medical record and communicate test results to patients as directed.
• Participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement and maintain care continuity.
