Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA supports a primary care physician, delivering patient care and a positive guest experience across the full patient journey, from front desk duties to clinical tasks.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of MA experience, MA program completion, and MA certification or registration where required. CPR/BLS certification is typically expected. AI screening may be used in recruiting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant (preferred in Primary Care).
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred and may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures; coordinate with labs for tests.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Handle front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document data in medical records per guidelines; communicate results to patients.
