Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide a welcoming guest experience to our patients.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, assisting with procedures, front desk duties, and maintaining accurate medical records. 1 year MA experience and CPR/BLS are required; MA certification is strongly preferred. Applications accepted until filled.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration required or strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, bandage wounds and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient check-in/out.
• Record data accurately in the medical record and communicate results to patients.
