Responsabilidades

• Provides efficient flow of patients to optimize appointment availability.
• Greets and escorts patients to exam rooms according to policy and procedures.
• Prepares patients for examinations; measures vital signs (BP, pulse, weight, height).
• Assists clinicians with routine clinical procedures and testing as needed.
• Ensures EMR is updated with medical information and demographic data.
• Keeps patients informed of visit status and delays.
• Reconciles medications and sets up pending refills; discontinues inactive prescriptions.
• Assists in resolving patient concerns and questions.
• Orders and performs waived point-of-care tests (strep, urine, hCG, glucose).
