Cambia Health Solutions, Inc. in Fargo, ND is seeking a Strategic Account Manager – Medicaid for a Hybrid role with 3 days in the office. The role focuses on leadership for relationships with state agencies to support North Dakota Medicaid and ensure a person-focused health care experience.

You will drive governance, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning within a matrixed organization, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to meet objectives and manage risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Marketing and 10 years of health plan and/or account management experience.
• Experience servicing large group accounts or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strategic account relationships with state agencies and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated leadership for state relations, governance, and stakeholder engagement for North Dakota Medicaid.
• Serve as primary contact for external stakeholder relationships, complementing Operations Manager’s focus on execution.
• Understand client and state agency needs; recommend strategies to achieve business objectives while anticipating needs.
• Drive cross-functional coordination across a matrixed organization to align external commitments with internal execution.
• Act as first point of contact for escalated issue resolution and risk management.
• Monitor regulatory, market, and competitive conditions to implement strategic adjustments.
• Lead introduction and implementation of new products and program enhancements per multiyear plan.
