Johnston County Department of Social Services seeks an experienced Medicaid Program Manager to supervise the Adult and Family & Children Medicaid Units. The role directs workflow, provides training, and ensures timely, accurate program delivery in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in income maintenance, including at least one year in supervision.
• Knowledge of Federal and State income maintenance laws and regulations.
• Strong computer, organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, supervise and participate in the delivery of income maintenance services; review casework, hold conferences, and assist staff in resolving difficult cases.
• Provide leadership and guidance to supervisors and staff responsible for the programs.
• Ensure quality and timeliness standards; track training, reports, and certifications; address employee issues and evaluations.
• Stay abreast of audit findings and other compliance standards.
