Job summary

Erie Family Health Centers in Chicago seeks an Insurance Navigator to help patients enroll in Medicaid, Marketplace, and other programs. You will educate patients on coverage options and assist with applications, renewals, and eligibility inquiries, working across Erie sites as needed.

The role offers a collaborative environment in a growing Front-End Revenue Cycle team, with travel to multiple Erie sites and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare or Medicaid enrollment experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for Medicaid, Marketplace, and other programs enrollment and retention.
• Educate patients on coverage options and assist with enrollment.
• Educate and assist with applications, redeterminations, and eligibility inquiries.
• Follow up on pending applications and requests for information.
• Provide educational materials on insurance coverage and community programs.
• Document and reconcile insurance-related information in the EHR system.
• Attend trainings and travel to Erie sites as needed.
• Maintain flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.
