Job summary

Erie Family Health Center is seeking a Patient Benefits & Enrollment Specialist to join our team in Chicago. This role focuses on helping patients navigate Medicaid, Marketplace, Medicare, and Sliding Fee Scale applications, with education, accuracy review, and authorized‑representative submissions.

You will schedule appointments, manage benefit inquiries, perform insurance verification, and resolve coverage issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medicaid, Marketplace, Medicare enrollment.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience with Epic EHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with Medicaid, Marketplace, Medicare enrollment.
• Schedule enrollment/eligibility appointments and manage inquiries.
• Verify insurance and resolve coverage issues.
• Document interactions in Epic and coordinate with teams.
• Stay compliant with PHI and participate in meetings.
