Job summary

Durham County Government is seeking an Income Maintenance Caseworker Supervisor to lead teams that process applications, redeterminations and changes within the Family Medicaid program in Durham, NC.

The role assigns work, reviews eligibility documentation, coordinates workflow, trains staff, and evaluates program functions to ensure accurate, timely eligibility services. NC FAST experience and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of eligibility or social services administrative experience, OR
• High school diploma and six years of eligibility experience within a Social Services program, including supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supervision of teams processing applications, redeterminations, and changes within Family Medicaid.
• Assign work to case maintenance staff and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Coordinate workflow within unit and with other departments; oversee staff development and onboarding.
• Plan, evaluate, and reorganize eligibility program functions to support service delivery.
