Job summary

Knowledge Services in Marion, IN is seeking an Eligibility Specialist to process applications and maintain case information in the State eligibility system while handling inbound calls from Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF applicants.

This on-site role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Indiana eligibility experience is strongly preferred, with benefits including PTO, health benefits, and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college preferred.
• Experience with social services and Indiana eligibility strongly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Accurate data entry with at least 40 keystrokes per minute.

Responsibilities

• Applies eligibility rules to determine initial or continuing eligibility.
• Verifies customer information via system interfaces.
• Answer inbound calls from Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF applicants.
• Attend trainings and stay updated on programs and systems.
• Clarify eligibility information with customers.
• Meet QA and performance metrics.
• Process rework and missing information for case disposition.
