You will verify data, obtain necessary documents, and determine eligibility using an automated system while handling inquiries by phone or email. The role emphasizes organization, communication, and case-management skills with a 37.5 hour work week and benefits.

• Prefer Bachelor/Associate in Counseling or Social Services, but HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience in a social service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather data for all relevant assistance programs with clients.
• Verify information meets state policies.
• Obtain release forms and medical records as needed.
• Verify income, assets and other documents.
• Review regulations and program requirements with clients.
• Use automated program to determine eligibility.
• Data entry into state database.
• Respond to inquiries by phone or email.
