Job summary

Cumulus Media is seeking an Account Executive in Birmingham, AL to manage relationships with local and regional businesses and grow revenue through tailored marketing solutions across broadcast, digital, and events.

The role requires 1–3 years of sales experience, a valid driver's license for travel, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. You’ll work with the full suite of products while driving revenue and client success.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sales experience required; background in broadcast, media or digital advertising preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present marketing solutions.
• Digitally savvy with CRM tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify client objectives and develop customized marketing solutions across platforms.
• Deliver integrated sales presentations featuring broadcast, digital, and event tactics.
• Negotiate and close business to drive revenue and maintain client relationships.
• Learn and stay current with Cumulus assets and opportunities.
• Represent products and services across station digital assets, internet marketing, social media, streaming, and events.
• Manage time to optimize revenue opportunities and assist in creating compelling messaging.
