Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital seeks an Assistant Nurse Operations Manager for the Med Tele Unit. The role focuses on nursing practice, administrative oversight, and achieving quality outcomes with strong leadership and collaboration.

The ANOM will partner with the Nursing Operations Manager to ensure staffing, patient flow, and customer experience meet Orlando Health standards. Requires MED Tele experience and Florida RN licensure; BLS and relevant certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Nursing Degree (BSN) required.
• 2 years as RN in an acute setting required.
• Active Florida RN license or NLC required.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) as per population.
• MED Tele experience required.

Responsibilities

• Shared 24/7 accountability with Nursing Operations Manager.
• Lead recruitment and interview processes for unit staff.
• Coordinate with HR on corrective action and career development.
• Oversee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing for patient care.
• Monitor patient flow and assist with process and quality improvement.
• Lead staff meetings and clinical rounds; uphold nursing standards.
