The ANOM collaborates with the Nursing Operations Manager on recruitment, schedules, performance reviews, quality initiatives, and patient experience, while maintaining regulatory compliance and budget responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience in an acute setting.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or NLC.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• May require ACLS, PALS, or NRP depending on patient population.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC).

Responsibilities

• Shared 24/7 accountability with Nursing Operations Manager.
• Participates in recruitment and selection of new team members.
• Coordinates with HR on corrective action and career advancement.
• Investigates event reports and provides feedback to leadership.
• Oversees unit schedules to ensure proper staffing for patient care.
• Maintains patient flow and intervenes to achieve outcomes.
• Performs leader rounds and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensures customer experience is upheld and provides service recovery.

Education

MSN Preferred

DNP Preferred

BSN with Graduate degree in Business or health-related field Preferred

BSN required if no Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Two years RN experience in acute setting

Florida RN licensure or NLC

BLS certification

ACLS/PALS/NRP depending on patient population
