Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital seeks a Nursing Operations Manager to provide leadership and oversight for Med Surg A2. The NOM will lead delivery of patient care, ensure safety and quality, and drive operational excellence on a major inpatient unit.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (MSN/DNP preferred) with leadership experience, Florida RN licensure, and a track record of improving patient outcomes. This role emphasizes budgeting, talent development, and collaboration with hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a BSN required.
• Current Florida RN license (or NLC) is required.
• 1 year leadership experience required; 2 years RN in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and operational oversight for an inpatient unit to meet department and hospital goals.
• Plans, directs, and evaluates delivery of patient care and outcomes.
• Manages budget, staffing, and resource allocation to maintain cost-effectiveness.
