Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC seeks a Med Tech to help provide quality care and assist with daily living activities for residents in McDonough, GA. Responsibilities include administration of prescribed medications within scope, documentation in EMAR/MAR, and timely communication with nursing staff.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of the Medication Aide Course, and current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must pass all medication cart audits.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Maintains medication carts and completes cart audits.
• Documents medication administration in EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
• Reports resident status and changes to HCD, RN/LPN, or ED as needed.
• Provides emotional support during move-in transitions and daily care routines.
• Responds promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Participates in activity planning and resident programs.
