Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Savannah, GA seeks a Med Tech to assist residents with daily living activities and safely administer prescribed medications within scope of practice. You will document in EMAR/MAR, reorder meds, and communicate with families as needed.

Responsibilities include supporting meal and activity participation, reporting incidents, and following confidentiality policies. Requirements: CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing, high school diploma, CPR/First Aid certification

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass medication observations annually and cart audits.
• CPR/First Aid certification required, or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications per policy.
• Maintain knowledge of all policies and procedures for the position.
• Document all medication administration in the EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
• Report incidents or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
• Re-order medications and communicate changes to residents and families as needed.
• Assist new residents with move-in transition and provide emotional support.
• Attend medication trainings and complete medication cart audits as assigned.
