Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech/CNA to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities, including medication administration within scope of practice.

Responsibilities include documenting care, responding to calls, assisting with activities, and adhering to all policies. Must maintain licenses and complete required trainings, with emphasis on teamwork, patient safety, and respectful resident interactions.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits assigned.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable policies and procedures.
• Report incidents and resident status to appropriate personnel.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies.
• Assist in planning activity programs for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
• Assist residents with moving between locations and meals.
• Document medication administration in EMAR/Daily Log.
