Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities in a resident-focused setting. The role includes administering prescribed medications within policy, monitoring resident status, and ensuring accurate documentation in EMAR/MAR.

Applicants must complete the Medication Aide Course and hold CNA and Med Tech licenses. The position requires interaction with residents, families, and staff, and may include weekends and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Communicate status and appointments to the team.
• Support move-in transition for new residents.
• Complete medication cart audits and EMAR/MAR documentation.
