Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care for residents in Bowie, MD. The role includes assisting with daily living activities and administering medications within policy, with documentation in EMAR/MAR and collaboration with the health care team.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, completion of the Medication Aide Course, and current CNA and Med Tech licenses. Flexibility to work weekends/holidays is expected, along with ongoing training.

Qualificações

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits assigned.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Administer prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Report incidents and communicate resident status to the care team.
• Maintain confidentiality and document in EMAR/MAR.
• Re-order medications and coordinate with the pharmacy as needed.
• Complete medication cart audits and daily logs.
