Qualifications

• Must complete Medication Aide Course.

• Must pass medication observations and cart audits.
• Must attend medication education hours annually.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Able to work with a diverse team and residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies.
• Plan and conduct activity programs for residents.
• Maintain confidentiality and document in daily logs and EMAR/MAR.
• Assist new residents with move-in and emotional support.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
