Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living is hiring a Med Tech (Full-time) in Colorado. The role administers and documents medications, orders refills, and supports daily resident care to ensure safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Complete state-approved Medication Administration training (QMAP in CO).
• Experience in senior living/assisted living preferred (minimum 3 years).
• Must read/write English and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document prescribed medications per MAR and physician orders.
• Order medications from pharmacy as prescribed and ensure timely delivery.
• Document meds after administration with date and initials.
• Observe and report medication reactions and side effects.
• Take and record vital signs as required before meds.
• Report any medication errors immediately to Wellness Director.
• Assist in development/review of care plans with the team.
• Maintain resident privacy, safety and dignity.
• Support daily care tasks and comfort measures.
