Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Sparks seeks a part-time Med Tech for our PRN program. The role administers prescribed medications, records administration, and collaborates with the Wellness Director to ensure resident well-being. Shifts include AM, PM, and NOC as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have state-approved Medication Administration training and First Aid certs.
• QMAP in CO; English reading/writing proficient.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document medications per physician orders and MAR under supervision.
• Order meds from the pharmacy 7 days before depletion; notify Wellness Director if delays.
• Document meds after administration and initial bubble pack.
• Observe and report adverse drug reactions and vital signs as ordered.
• Report medication errors immediately to Wellness Director.
• Support care plans development with other disciplines; ensure resident privacy and dignity.
• Assist residents with daily care tasks and mobility while ensuring safety.
