Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living is seeking a Med Tech/QMAP at our Wheat Ridge community. The role involves administering and documenting prescribed medications, following physician orders, and ensuring residents receive care with dignity.

You will learn residents’ preferences and collaborate with licensed staff to maintain safety and comfort. Candidates should have CO QMAP certification, a high school diploma, and experience in assisted living or memory care, with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• QMAP in CO and medication administration experience.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
• Able to read and write English; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document prescribed medications per MAR under supervision.
• Order meds from the pharmacy 7 days prior to running out of meds and ensure delivery.
• Document medications with date and initials after administration.
• Observe and report adverse reactions to medication.
• Take and record vital signs before medications as ordered.
• Report medication errors to Wellness Director immediately.
• Assist with care plans and daily resident care tasks.
• Ensure privacy, safety and dignity of residents.
