Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have successful completion of state approved Medication Administration training.
• QMAP in the state of CO.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document medications per physician orders.
• Order medications from the pharmacy to ensure availability.
• Document medications given in the resident's medical record after administration.
• Observe and report medication reactions or side effects to licensed staff.
• Take vital signs prior to administration when required.
• Assist with care plans and ensure resident privacy, safety and dignity.
