Job summary

MorningStar of Boulder is seeking a Med Tech / QMAP to administer and document medications per physician orders and MAR, under the Wellness Director. You’ll ensure timely resupply and accurate nursing documentation while upholding resident dignity.

The role requires CO QMAP certification, state Medication Administration training, and experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care. It’s a full-time, non-exempt position with a focus on compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• State-approved Medication Administration training completed.
• QMAP certification in CO.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
• Ability to read/write English and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document prescribed medications per MAR and physician orders.
• Order meds from the pharmacy 7 days before running out and ensure delivery; notify if late.
• Document medications immediately after administration with date and initials.
• Observe and report adverse reactions and side effects.
• Take vital signs prior to meds as ordered by physician or Wellness Director.
• Report any medication errors to Wellness Director immediately.
• Assist with care plan development in collaboration with the team.
• Maintain resident privacy, respect and safety at all times.
• Assist in daily living activities and observation of intake.
