Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Must pass medication observations and medication cart audits.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Document medication administration in EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
• Re-orders medications and communicates with pharmacy/family as needed.
• Perform medication cart audits and maintain the cart.
• Attend scheduled medication trainings and in-services.
• Provide emotional support to new residents during move-in.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report status to HCD.
